Seniors Get Social was founded by Katie Waissbluth in 2015, her freshman year of high school. She was inspired by her grandmother to start a company that could extend the assistance she provides at home to many it could benefit. Since then, she she has organized and trained a team of students from high schools across Cincinnati who share her ambitions. The team has been having a blast going into senior living communities and activity centers giving classes to and working one on one with the elderly in order to teach them how to better use their technology and social media to connect with their loved ones and the world around them.
